Crown tournament will be Saturday November 9th in the Barony of Vatavia. Letters of Interest are due at least two weeks prior to crown per kingdom law (25 October 2024), but we are accepting them as early as the 1st of September. The tournament style will be best weapons, and the shield restrictions for this crown tournament will be don't bring something stupid that you don't normally fight with. If you want to fight with a shield larger than your arm span but are unsure if it will be accepted just contact me with a picture and tell me why you want to fight with it. I will let you know if it is ok. For your letters please include the following:
Background in the SCA (i.e. how long you have been playing, jobs you have held, current activity and the reason you want to fight in the crown tournament).
Proof of membership (Copy of membership cards and picture of driver's license)
Contact information (email/phone number)
Address
We will let everyone know prior to the crown tournament if your letter was accepted.
